The Interstate Companies have also established Air Quality Associates, Inc. (AQA) to provide a basic understanding of indoor air quality (IAQ) issues.  The company’s desire is to educate our clients in IAQ issues and resolve these issues for them. 

AQA is also designed to provide the customer with full indoor air quality sampling and mechanical systems assessments.

AQA has trained technicians to properly assess the project. After assessing the site, our technicians perform air sampling specifically for the project. Using the proper chain of custody, the collected samples are then sent to the laboratory for analysis.

Air Quality Associates offers a variety of services to our customers such as:

  • Complete indoor air quality testing services, assessments, and recommendations of air quality problems.  AQA test for biological contaminants such as:  carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and molds. 
  • Complete HVAC systems analysis
  • Complete written analysis with detailed methods of correction
  • All samples will be assessed by an accredited laboratory
  • Lab analysis reviewed and reports generated by an independent Environmental Engineer.

The scope of our service ranges from proactive indoor air quality investigations designed to identify IAQ problems, to reactive situations in which we attempt to identify and solve indoor air quality problems which are occurring.
