In 1987, when Interstate was only five years old, we opened our own in-house sheet metal fabrication shop. Having the ability to produce our own ductwork not only makes us more competitive, but gives us an advantage of quality control, faster job turnaround and reduced labor costs.
Our productive sheet metal shop is capable of handling small jobs and large fabrication projects – regardless of shape and size. Our Duct-o-matic coil line produces a single-seam wrap joint of duct every 28 seconds. Also, our computer-driven plasma-arc cutting machine can cut various shapes and keep waste to a minimum. Our talented on-hand workforce ensures that all of our ductwork meets Sheet Metal & Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) industry standards and regulations.
